Mary Dally-Muenzmaier is founder and head writer of the arts and culture blog CricketToes, which was active from July of 2008 through September of 2017, as well as the author of the novel Artifacts.

Mary has 17 years of practical experience in genealogy research, family history narrative writing, photo and document restoration, and proofreading and editing of individual memoirs. Always seeking to further develop her expertise in the field, she successfully completed Boston University’s Center for Professional Education Genealogical Research Program, earning the program certificate in August of 2018. Upon conclusion of the program, Mary founded Cerebral Genealogy, offering professional genealogy services to individuals and families as well as non-profits, foundations, and other institutions that have special projects requiring professional genealogy and/or digital restoration experience.

She is a member of the Association of Professional Genealogists (APG) and the National Genealogical Society (NGS), and also holds a BA in Comparative Literature from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee (UWM).

Mary's previous work includes writing, editing and proofreading of marketing and promotional content, both print and electronic, as Communications Coordinator / Marketing Manager for the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music, as well as article, copy and web content writing for The National Registration Center for Study Abroad-NRCSA and WorldWide Classroom-WWC. She also held the positions of head writer and editor-in-chief of NRCSA's What's New web and e-mail newsletter and the NRCSA web site.

In addition, she worked as a blog writer for Milwaukee Specialty Food and Coffee and as the marketing coordinator and head blog writer for Stone Creek Coffee Roasters.
